Re: ETH.UDD

Frank,

I use the app called network, which gives you all the settings with out editing stuff, it sees asx0 and you can set it an IP address or DHCP, it just does not work on any of my adaptors...

the network is fine as netUSB in on ne0 works and use the same network on ASX 0

Re: ETH.UDD

thanks thats worked without a error, but it proves that all my USB to eithernet adaptors dont work.

there Ethernet lights fire up, but no DHCP and I cannot ping a permanent IP address

but I do have the option of asx0 so something is working

Set to TT and not STE, and try the other as default.....

its strange the Mach 32 needs to have it set to STE....on a TT

Re: strange Mint issue

Lightning TOS drivers work fine with VMint, you have to use them for easy mint as the mint drivers dont work with that kernel, but the Mint drivers work great with VMINT.

But using TOS drivers with mint has caused no issues, in fact tos drivers work better as it detects the drive being removed.

emcclariion - The *exact* same setup that works (with memory protection too?) from your SCSI disk is crashing when booting from ACSI.
