Tobe, Here below the extraction boot loader of airball with my comments. Airball is a nice game of 1987. I did a full trainer of it and expected to release it after a full reverse of the code. Hum, I did only part of the job ... What I found very interesting it that the code doesn't do any call to t...

There is something not clear in your last post. Do you mean that you have no success running the cheat version I provided. Or do you mean you could not cheat the game to make the jousting easier ? Maybe I could do this last point. I am not very motivated because : 1)while playing most of the time I ...

One point I forget to precise, the memory configuration used in STEEM when the memory dump was done : atari ST standard 8MHz with 4MB memory tos102fr.img so it should be a french tos version 1.02 So in case you cannot use the image, adjust your STEEM configuration to this one, I guess it should solv...

Joust cheat

Find attached a STEEM memory dump of defender of the crown in which what ever you do during the joust you win ! Surely always winning in joust allow you to get 3 territories per tournament as far as there is no castle on them. In that case it is easy to be rich and so to win the game. This might be ...

Dicussing by pm with the so well named defender of the crown, I have got this explanation : when jousting there are two disciplines you need to take note of 1: Aiming (see image) take aim at the bottom right bit of the shield. 2: Clicking mouse button at the right time. To do this I would start a ne...

Hi, I am not going to answer directly to you question, my knowledge is not enough precise. Anyway I guess that what is done here is simply to simulate a jump by doing a software exception (more than a simple jump as to return from an exception the address after the call is put on the stack for an RT...

1040STF floppy disk stops working after a "bad" di

Hi, When finaly I get back my old 1040STF (bought in 1987 or 1988), the 1st disk was running good as in the old time. Unfortunately I choose a second disk that make very bad noise (as if there was a very noisy hardware protection), that didn't run. And since no success to run anymore other floopy ev...

Just to warn you. If I remember well after all these years, king quest3 has no physical protection. However without the manual you cannot play well the game. You have to prepare some magics. And for this you have to copy from the manual a text for each. A spell mistake and the spell is wrong ! You a...

Take care with the 3.5" HD disk, they don't work on all ST (as mine if I remember well). It would be nice if you...
