Re: Recovery of ftp.cs.tu-berlin.de:/pub/atari

Awesome! That was one of most popular servers at least for the german users. One of the early FTP servers I used once I got internet access after starting at Uni Freiburg. Typically it was so slow, that I used a FTP2Mail service and got my files mailed the other day. Then logon on a OS/2 box at the...

400 DM, holy poo. :D Hardware really was expensive back then.

Well, that’s ~200€ (without inflation), and it included the AJAX, the kit, a floppy drive, a disk and the software. That’s not that expensive, I’d say.

Hi, is there any shortcut to display mouse pointer in MagiC (like ctrl+m in MiNT)? From time to time, cursor simple disappear from screen in MagiC but he would continue to work (you just do not see pointer). Re: Mac OSX-Atari floppy problems

DD disks on Mac are notoriously difficult from what I remember. It uses varial rotation speeds to fit 800kb onto a disk and I am not really sure if Mac can read DD disks from other platforms at all. On top of that I think apple even dropped som floppy support in 10.4... Sorry, your memory is a bit ...

I wonder if there is somewhere possible to download - version of Selectric 2.02? In this article http://www.stcarchiv.de/ap/03/file-selectors we can see a screen where is a 2.02 v. but on the Atari ST essential software List there is only version 1.10 https://sites.google.com/site/stessential/syste...

You seem to be using extended VDI mode. Yes, but this does not matter. If I run it without in ST HIGH, the same happens. Any other things that differ from the Hatari defaults? I don’t know a simple way to compare to the defaults, but let’s try it without any of my settings files … (I've never heard...

Re: TOS 2.06, failed to allocate window memory

I tried Hatari 2.0, same error for me. So this I cannot explain. What host system (Windows, Mac, Linux - flavor) are you on? /Troed macOS 10.12.2, but this happens since Hatari 1.6 at least to me, so also for much older OS X releases. I thought for a long time that my (then only) ROM image is just ...

Do you have something in AUTO folder? What about NEWDESK.INF file? How much memory you have configured and which machine configuration you use? The same error happens, with Machine = TT, and TOS 3.06. With Machine = ST, and TOS 1.0, TOS 1.02, TOS 1.04 and KAOSTOS 1.4 - everything works fine. I trie...

Nothing. No accessories.

None existant.

ST, I tried 4, 8 and 14 MB.

I attached two video GIFs, for both ROM files one. Same behaviour.

TOS 2.06 _or_ KAOS 1.4 is needed for CPUs >= 68020. The advantage of KAOS would be that it fits in unmodified 520/1040STF machines, as it is the same size than TOS 1.04 (192 KB).

Thanks. I thought NNTPS support was a bit useless (possible but rare in France). The difficulty is to find a usenet SSL server, but easy to implement. In the TODO list. May appear in an update instead of an upgrade. news.individual.de, see http://news.individual.de/faq.php#1.14
