Re: TT030 VGA Monochrome

Maybe, I never tryed a SM-124 with my Screenblaster II, but it also should be possible. Anyhow, native resolution of SM-124 is a lot bigger than 640x400 at the same video timings. I remember something like 754x576 without any borders. (I could tell exactly if my ST with AutoswitchOverScan would run ...

Raspberry Pi as SCSI or IDE device

Hello, I hope this is the right corner to place this. It's not CosmosEx, but it's quite similar. I found two projects which are quite similar to CosmosEx device. Both also are based on Raspberry Pi plus hardware, the one more simple, the other more complex, to emulate drives, network and translated ...

Re: Possible cheap SuperVidel hardware

On the note of using SAGA. So if that was adapted to an ST, does that mean we could get Workbench ported to the ST (we already have EmuTOS running on Amiga hardware). Yeah I know, sin! I'm also half joking, I have both anyhow. Original Amiga OS is closed source (like TOS in theory is as well). But ...

Re: Possible cheap SuperVidel hardware

SAGA is capable of FullHD resolutions and 24/32 bit color. So is both SuperVidel and FireBee Videl, and still compatible with original Videl. SAGA can support all videomodes Videl can do as well, and even more (bitplanes, planar, RGB in different color depths and so on in any resolution up to at le...

Re: TT030 VGA Monochrome

It is a fixed frequency monitor for 640x400@70Hz not exactly fixed, you can easily get different resolution in SM124 with Falcon and BlowUp application It's still fixed frequency, because BlowUp and AutoSwitchOverscan (on ST) are using just the black frame which is always drawn even on a standard S...

Re: Possible cheap SuperVidel hardware

Other idea: Amiga Apollo 68080 team will release it's code for SAGA graphics chipset to Open Source. There is already EmuTOS driver for SAGA. Maybe someone can design a board with SAGA graphics core to fit on CT60(e)? SAGA is capable of FullHD resolutions and 24/32 bit color. There may be some bandw...

Re: TT030 VGA Monochrome

SM-147 is not a VGA monitor. It is a fixed frequency monitor for 640x400@70Hz with digital video signal (monochrome, not analogue greyscale), it's just a replacement for SM-124 and SM-144. It is - like SM-144 - specially made for Mega STE (but fits also on any ST) as it's feed exactly fits mechanica...

STMini: New MiST Clone

The clone got cloned, but it's not available yet. It is cheaper, has less interfaces, chassis looks quite nice and according to website it should be compatible to MiST. My impression is that they seems not to be sure about it's final name. Mini-Mist, ST Mini, STmini, See https://www.8bits4ever.net/p...

Re: CosmoEx Screencast can it replace VME video cards

Interesting idea! Using CE's HDMI output for VDI graphics, I love this idea. It even would be possible to access/use it remotely from network! But it might be slow, don't forget, ACSI and SCSI on ST/TT/Falcon is only 1-2 MB/s. If you have a resoultion of 800x600 in Monochrome, that is already about ...

Traslated drive for standard dos disks would be fine. Real WD1772 emulation would be too difficult ans these USB drives are quite thumb.

Haven't tryed scsi drives with my ct60e Falcon. But Aniplayer DSP works just fine (less than 10% system load) in 800x608@256 with Screenblaster III activated.

Re: CT60e, Not measuring up.

I don't like the idea of moving the 12v connector to the former power outlet. That's because I am still hoping to get a super videl one day and use the former power outlet hole for VGA connector. Anyhow that thing could be even usefull then.

Re: CT60e, Not measuring up.

So I'm going to re-purchase the old one again: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/171379578075 and pretend that I didn't spend $150 AUD on a PicoPSU+adapter from the US. ;-) That's the one I use as well. But my Falcon does not start when power on in 060 mode. Only in 030 mode it switches on, and then I can...

Re: [SOLVED] The reset / 030->060 issue update

I haven't a clock patch in my Falcon, so this would not help me. About the capacitor fix: WHat does the bigger capactitor`Delaying the reset signal? If yes, I think it would not help me, because then I would be able to simulate the capacitor fix by just holding reset button down when power on and th...

I am interested in that topic, because my Falcon behaves the same way.

What is that capacitor fix? (By the way, my two Falcons do not have any clock patch, did not tested ct60e in 2nd Falcon yet)

Re: Fastest 060 clock?

My 060 runs stable at 100 Mhz, at 105 it crashes. I haven't checked if I increase in 0,1 or 1 Mhz steps above 100. But by default at the moment I have set it to 95, it's not necesssary to go to the limit. It's fast enough.
