Re: Falcon Nemesis rewire with questions

Yes, looks good. If there is enough RAM, running TOS in RAM could save having to burn another ROM. Definitely use faster memory. I used Coax to the SDMA CLKIN and had good results using a terminating resister at that point. This was with an Afterburner and Mighty Sonic. Have read using a cap there o...

Re: CTPCI and Realtek 8139D

Have 4 ISA NIC cards for the Milan, but no PCI format (yet) :)

I found open source for Nokia suite. If MiNT can network via USB, it may be possible to use a Symbian Nokia tethered to the USB as a modem. More fun.

Re: CTPCI and Realtek 8139D

The performance writing to RAM disk is vs Falcon IDE? Sometime back, "someone" said they have USB working on the CT/SV S/U (sorry). But that is USB 1 @ 400k, correct? My CTPCI arrived just before holiday, so testing my NIC cards will have to wait until the CTPCI is installed, a job in itse...

I think hdmi needs a licence to be purchased. You cant just add it.

HDMI cards out of China bypass HDCP.
Could always go there for production

Like Shoggoth says, it's a simple adapter. Mine were not assembled, soldering required. May have been more recent ones available.

The Amiga 060 adapters I have were a kit a user on Amibay sold a few years ago. I don't think he had made more than ordered by other users, look for the thread in the Amibay forum.

Can you imagine, on "other" forums, members get chastised for "reviving" an old thread. Hell, I thought that one of the main points of belonging to a forum :) OK, let's see what "chastised" (never heard it before) means ... Got it. Can you imagine, that thread is 'old'...

Re: I'm calling Willy out! SuperVidel info!

Nice update Willy. and thanks for the CT63e's as well :)

Personally, haven't had any luck at all getting a "board" member to design and / or build a few of my own small, very small projects.

Building a "SuperVidel" would be quite the undertaking for anyone.

I might part with one. Since you asked nicely :) Must get my investment back though :) What specifications do you seek? I have new HDD's or CF card to fit. FPU? CT63e? Best to do private auction on eBay and use PayPal (buyer to pay PayPal fees). I am coming to The Netherlands December 4th to January...

Re: SCSI floppy drive combo

Have tried the SuperDrive on both a Falcon and TT. Was hoping as the TT "knows" about a B drive, with HD Driver assigning it as drive B, it would be recognized by the OS as so. Thats not the case, and the drive is treated the same under TOS 3.06 as 4.04. Uwe stated a long while back he had...

Haven't kept up with this. Have you rang out all the traces from the Timekeeper to corresponding ties on other IC's and such.

Clock seems right, when I mentioned term power, only it's 5v source used, not your connector.

Re: Atari and external SCSI

Pasta and meatballs :)

Zipped this on the TT with ST Zip 2.3. Windows opened it, but that's all I can say, other than some say the ST Zip is buggy (never had issues).

I'd also say it's 5V, that's what all those IC's are. Pretty sure SCSI term power is the same.

Think you can use ICD or HD Driver with the Supera controller.
I do have the original package, in luck, backing up some old CD's tonight.

Re: Falcon drive "B"

A RAM disk may very well get around the corruption and freeze issues. Ideally, using the drop down to format a floppy, select B, then format, want TOS to look at what HD Driver has setup as drive B, then HD Driver takes over to format the SCSI floppy super drive using TOS routines (aka Kobold). HD D...

DML did a lot of patching from the auto folder with the Afterburner Tool Kit. I'd assume it was easier, and with a likely unintended compliance with copyright laws :) Do think it pretty much moot point with NAES, but did enjoy sending Roger Borroughs a check for a complete ExtenDos package with new ...

Falcon drive "B"

Is there a way to "trick" TOS 4.04 to look at what HD Driver has assigned as a drive B to a connected device on the IDE or SCSI bus? At first I thought it was working, then came into a lot of hardware freezes. I can read and write between drive "B" and "C", but writing ...

Funny, when I purchased the floppy disk set from Woller about what, 25 years ago, sent a personal check from California. Wasn't long before the package arrived.
