Re: Atari Falcon Eagle add-in module

Now I remember, the CT2 is 32 bit RAM address, Eaglesonic is still 16 bit. Mightysonic had the fast RAM. I have to say this is one of the most bizarre discussions I have had. If it works, leave it, if it doesn't, it is bloody easy to remove. To complain it breaks compatibility rules out nearly ever...

Re: Modern multisync monitors?

Had a weird blip on a NEC LCD 1970v. Works perfectly in RGB modes for everything. Been testing an Expose video card. When I fired up Apex 2.41 in RGB mode, said the input was out of range in TC Figure it a fine line between 15.7 and 15.5 :) Know Apex does a lot of video tricks. Didn't try to go back...

Re: Falcon Nova Adapter ...

The Nova Falcon work at the moment exclusively with a ATI ISA MACH64 Graphiccard. The Falcon can have only 4MB ST Ram, 14MB do not work. Falcon_Nova_klein.jpg Frank, do you have customer link yet? Don't see them on your normal sales. This one will work ? Have the 2MB module, can't fine it right now.

Max Headroom and Space

Sure someone has already came up with this. Some of the top case support legs on a Falcon I'm building are in pretty bad shap, so made some sleeves about 3/8 diameter about 1/2" long with an ID where they can be pressed over the post to keep them from opening the existing cracks when screws are...

Apex and Expose

Anyone using Apex and Expose? My current setup worked well, even with a PAL video source on my PAL setup some years ago. Now, nada. Spent all day, no luck. My Catbox seems to of taken a dump, the device I always went to for an RGB source on the NTSC board Only thing I haven't tried is going back a f...

Re: Falcon 030 Microbox board

Jennifer passed me onto Ray once troubleshooting the Expose card :) We talked for a bit, not really much about the card.
Remember talking about some Falcon hardware add on, he asked "Dose it run Mule?" If not..... :)
Had a crush on her :)

Re: My fried falcon

Hello, well, as you may have read I foolishly fried my falcon by plugging the floppy connector to the ct63 wrongly some time ago. Now that I am in pre vacations mode I had a chance to revisit it. First of all i found my original 4mb card and connected it. Then I connected the falcon to a vga monito...

Re: Falcon 030 Microbox board

While many in the U.S. were awaiting our Falcon order with Toad Computers, Jennifer said a few times getting the Falcon RF interference certified was a substantial cause of the delayed release.
I miss Toad Computer :(

Thanks Brad, if you ever get to the forum :)

Hint, if you order something that would fit inside an empty Field Service binder, order As couple for $5. Makes for great protection.

I just sold a very nice TT to a local user near me. Not sure if they are on the forum, this would be a great thread to follow as I'm sure they will be looking to do the same.

Re: Cross compiling on the PC for M680x0 and DSP56001

Another kept me up after midnight thread to read :) Never set up Hatari, kind of read up a bit on the cross compiling a while back. Would be a challenge for me to get that far, much less code. Picked these up a while ago, they are object code compatible with the 56001. Was thinking the PC card would...

Re: Atari Falcon Eagle add-in module

Not sure why Apex won't start here. Tried several revisions, and pretty sure I tried both speeds. Apex is pretty much defacto DSP.
Like you say, if it works, leave it if it does the job.

Heck, the 50mhz CPU in mine has value :)
My drawer of unwanted Falcon items is only half full, but tend to offer such things to anyone with interest for shipping cost.
Besides, here it is illegal to throw electronics in the trash :)

Re: Atari Falcon Eagle add-in module

Going through the process of removing one now:) Member here (thanks Ektus) guided me to a 2011 post on the Atari de forum. First you'll discover DSP is not accessable in 32mhz mode. In 16mhz, Falcon will fail video diagnostics. Once I uncovered those, more and more things kept pooping up. Apex would...

Last time I used a modem was on some of the Roundtable's and ASH BBS order area. Had an brain fart today assembling a shower curtain rod. Re: Now on eBay (apologize) Re-listed Sale Atari TT030

I mean I think your TT could go for that, Falcons go for a lot more depending on how much has been done to them. I have a bare PAK30 board I bought but have not even tried sourcing parts for it yet, not too fond of soldering small parts but I do have a microscope for that. Your NOVA :) Is it for a ...

Re: Now on eBay (apologize) Re-listed Sale Atari TT030

Hope your father is OK, my guess is it will go for between $900 to $1000 based on how fast it jumped up. I imagine the real bidding will start in the last half hour of the auction and I am sure it will go for more than I was ready to spend, good luck hope you get a good price. I liked your TT becau...

Re: Re-listed Sale Atari TT030

We'll see. My Pa was injured and have to make a mid month air trip and decided to just list it. Kind of munged up the auction, I had make offer, and a starting price, but didn't realize the make offer went away after a bid. Didn't want to mess with figuring a BIN price..
