Re: CTPCI-IDE-Problem

Maybe a small relay to switch 030 IDE power off in 060 mode? Doesn't make sense to d/q the drive to use both.

Re: Falcon Afterburner - Please Help!

After the last post, did some basic testing of the two A/B cards. One just purchased was an unknown, the other purchased from ATY many years ago. It was put to bed sometime back, well packed. On first attempt, didn't get anything out. Clock patch did have a few fixes to make. Switched to the new one...

If they will run under MiNT, load a very light Multitos and play with time slice.

Sounds great.
Haven't tried access on a computer, the website is crashing the browser on the cell phone. Sometimes when the main page animation starts, or when the shop icon is selected.

Re: F/S: 4 Gator type cases Atari perfect

Didn't realize the shipping cost was so expensive using FEDEX Ground calculator. I'll set up an FEDEX account and see what "Super Saver" comes out. Know vendors get a discount when using eBay shipping too, private auction for $1 would be enough to ship via that route. Not the weight of the...

Same here, was using ET V5. Going to pull the Spectrum and stick in your adapter and ET card after messing with a problematic Falcon.

Re: NVDI + ET4000 + Color resolution probs.

Have a Spectrum HC in my TT. Couldn't find the original driver. Not much luck really getting anything to work properly outside of 800*600 (834...). This card is a VME, no adapter. The NVDI configuration tool isn't the easiest to interpret, IMHO
If you work out setting, please share :)

Re: Help setting up STOS

Purchased STOS for my son way long ago, with STACK. Came across the package last year cleaning up and refreshed just was it was. Think I'd read in the manual user agreement games created with the package couldn't be distributed, either that or sold. If so, that still the case? Not a gamer at all, bu...

SCSI floppy drive combo

Came across some combo SCSI DVD/floppy dive mechanisms giggling it. May have misread, seems they were used primarily in servers. They were just piggy backed. Only visable connection is SCSI, reads as if SCSI controls the floppy. Think HD Driver would see the floppy as a removable drive? Other than a...

Cool, I knew about the symlinks, didn't know file selectors recognized them as such. Thanks.

Re: Falcon Afterburner - Please Help!

Just working on the 68040 now. Maybe I compared it to the 060 in the lengthy read :) Going to work on the A/B until I know everything is optimal before moving to the 060 adapter for Amiga. One of the reasons I want to try out the 060 PLL clock now, so I can eliminate any hardware issues later. Would...

Right now having some cap issues on the MB with the 040. I has the reset cap mod, but something else seems afoul. File selector able to select icons from desktop

I've tried a couple file selectors, all very good.. Haven't found one that has the ability to interpret and associate desktop icon links to actual file locations. ex: Image Copy to load an image from desktop icon, Photoline to load, and save an image to desktop, but create a desk icon, linked to the...

Re: NVDI 5 - missing black/grey on 16M colours printout

You should find Photoline in most any archive. Without the serial number, some features are limited, but still very useful. Maybe ask Uwe his opinion about passing around old S/N's :( AFAIK, photoline is now freeware and you can get a proper serial for it. I never looked into finding it, I purchase...

Heck, I'm wondering what model 3D printer used. Before retirement, worked with plastic material for guidance system mockups. Haven't keep up on tech, other than metal spray, had no idea of stainless being used as a material. Quick search, small units run about $3.5k, plus expensive replenishes. Kind...

Tip there, pull all belts and test run first, fiddle by hand, then replace one at a time. To coin what Doug said, I ...

Re: NVDI 5 - missing black/grey on 16M colours printout

Gerhard quit supporting the TOS market years ago. He said, in an email, back in the booming days, there was a lot of "piracy", which kind of drove work off to what he now does (likely the best manipulation soft out there today, IMHO). Also, there was no decent C++ package. With emulation h...
