And, are there some problems between with the 8MHz/16MHz mode or note?
And the blitter?
And the Ultrasatan?
And the Superchager? (emulator on the ACSI)

Re: [Help] CDAR-504 battery cover images

Hi, Please get in touch if you can send me high res images (and maybe measurements) of the battery cover for the CDAR's remote. I am thinking to make a 3d model of it for print and make it available too. Thanks. The forum refuses my images! They are under 500KB... So, I put them into a ZIP file ! C...

Re: [ASM] Fast Muls and Divs Help

Hi,

More than two times!
Your first number is two bytes long : let's say AB
The second is two bytes long, let's say CD.
Remember when you multiply:
AB
CD
----
DxB
DxA and shift 8 bits
CxB and shift 8 bits
CxA and shift 16 bits
----
total sum.

no MegaSTE ram expansion over 4MB ?

Hi,

The TOS2.06 can manage alternate RAM (as the TT). I wonder why there is no RAM expansion board for this machine.

There was a project :

Hi! This is HighWire under TOS : highwire.jpg To run it, I loaded: - Nova Drivers in 800x600x256 - NVDI 5.03 - Sting 1.26 for the NetUSBee - ColorTOS to get a colored desktop This is the free ram you get on the desktop: ramtos.jpg But when Highwire is browsing my home page, this is what remains: ram...

I succeded with NVDI, now HighWire works well on the MegaSTE.

I disabled the "view images" entry. And surfing speed is acceptable (slow but... acceptable).
Then, when I get to the page I wanted, I relaod the images.

Re: uip-tool

I tried packing my stuffs with ST-Zip and it took a loong time even with compression deactivated. Not to mention STZip crashed for me with weird Mint kernel messages, I think directory recursion didn't do it any good. But basically that is the way to go, bundle stuff in container files and transfer...

One MegaSTE setup

Hi, Working on my MegaSTE... It has 4MB Ram and I replaced the old SCSI drive with a Ultrasatan with a 4GB SD card. The partition is a lot of 511MB and some 16MB units to work with the old Supercharger PC Emulator. I added a Nova graphic card. Here is the desktop under plain TOS with ColorTOS in 800...

Re: uip-tool

It's not possible (to my knowledge) to implement universally comaptibile (across all browsers) download of multiple files with one user action. I just compress a whole partition on the MSTE into a single LZH file that I can download easely then. Fortunately, I have a spare partition on the Atari si...

Yes on another TT, it works well!

But on this one, I don't have NVDI installed and HighWire requires some graphic underground to manage its display.

Re: issues with ROM port of the TT (half solved)

Hi, some infos... I traced the NETUS.TOS and found that one test consists in: - reading a byte at address $FA1400 that should return $50 - reading a byte at address $FA1600 that should return $70 My TT returns $FF, or $14/$16... but never the couple $50/$70. issues with ROM port of the TT

Hi all, Some of you in this forum say that half of the TT have problems with their ROM port and that, consequently, many encounter a problem with the NetUSBee Ethernet adapter. Some say that it is a problem with the "rom port timings". I have different TT's.... and with some of them, that'...

Hi Sqward !
Very useful tool.

Just hoping that "drag and drop" could be in both directions, from the ST to the PC to make backups.

Great job,

Re: ST display ratio

Hi again,

For my STE, I am using a video converter to display the color modes on a VGA monitor. I don't lknow if that changes the ratio... The VGA monitor is a 4:3 one.
In centimeters, I get:
24,7 x 17,3 close to 1,43.
