Re: ROM port Ethernet adapter

No need to pay, I just wanted to help "for free" :) But if you think it is possible to run the driver on CT60, I am fully available to do all the tests you want. After all, it could also serve other people! In short, if you have a little time to modify the driver, I will be your beta teste...

Re: ROM port Ethernet adapter

Tested. At boot FreeMiNT displays: "RTL8012 ethernet romport driver version 1.10" On the desktop, if I ping my internet box, everything is fine, no packet lost. And by testing Highwire I can surf on Atari-Forum. For me all seems ok. In 060 mode, the ethernet pocket is well recognized but a...

Re: ROM port Ethernet adapter

OK, I installed the latest version of VanillaMiNT 1.19 (thanks Joska) with the driver rtl8012.xif (version 1.3). A ping on my internet box works well even if oddly I can't ping other machines in my network unlike STING ?! In mode 030 the driver works well, with a 060 the driver is not detected at bo...

If no one proposes, I will try to remake a mintnet config that works; so I could test your driver if you want.

Re: ROM port Ethernet adapter

I use this pocket network card only with STING.
I don't think the original driver works with the latest versions of Freemint (>= 1.15?) but it's so old in my memory...
The only thing I'm sure is my card has never worked with a CT60, no matter the driver.

Re: Barbarian vs Barbarian II (Palace) - Which Is Best?

Barbarian is good for two players but I prefer Barbarian II; the solo game is better with more gfx, more sounds, more variety (landscapes & monsters).

Re: Klax - STE DMA sound patch

I tested your patch (8/16 drag & drop) on my Falcon and I can hear the samples with good level.
It's more funny with the arcade's sound, excellent :D

Thank you Junosix & AtariZoll.

Re: Daimakaimura (Ghouls 'n Ghosts) for the Atari STE

Every video we see a good progression, nice job.
The framerate is amazing for a small STE.
If you make a Falcon version, will you choose between a better framerate or keep this one and add the parralax?

This information come from a french magazine (Joystick), an interview of Steve Bak, extract: (my bad english translation ^^) JOY: But Fright Night has been developed on Amiga, yet... SB: No, it was not only on Amiga. I worked only on this version, which is a slight difference. The reason is that the...

Re: Menu system for harddisk AUTO folder? ==> RELEASED

There are programs like your tool on Amiga (TinyLauncher, X-bEnCh, etc.), it's faster than a desktop to start games.
This is a good news to see such tools on Atari!
Maybe you should give it a name ^^

Bravo Simonsunnyboy.

The sound is a bit different but it's not good.
However you progressed.
I see the initialization message and the MT32 led shows that receives information.
I think you're almost there, do not relaxes your efforts

Re: Dune II / OpenDUNE for Falcon (and TT)

What do you mean by complete compilation ? opendune is just an executable, that expects original Dune II files to be in a data/ sub-directory. I thought there were other files because I did not have the file OPTIONS.CFG in DUNE2. After playing a game I got the file (I copied it in opendune DATA dir...

ok i managed to produce an mp3. SC-88vl version: http://tempsend.com/D0743BCB5D Thank you, there are few wrong notes (not surprising because the music of Dune2 are not composed for a GM expender) but it's far better than my version  You can download the manual here: http://hol.abime.net/440/m...
