Re: Rodolphe Czuba's websites mirrored & fixed

Perhaps not a terrific news but may be of interest for someone -- I have added the CTEX section which had been gone from the original Rodolphe's site (but present on the even older www.czuba-tech.com): http://powerphenix.com/ct60/english/CTEX.htm

Re: 68020 booster

I think, with a pcb, you could get better signals, but not as flexible as ribbon cable. Something like the CTEX for the CT60 http://nature.atari.org/Pics/IMG_0619.JPG (the white board) Just for the record, that is not a CTEX. That's Nature's home cooked expansion slot extender. The CTEX looks a bit...

Re: CT2B Flash 1.41 English

Is there any benefit to 1.41? I didn't know it even existed. That is a very good question. While investigating this issue I saw this question asked numerous times. R. Czuba claims while he was at Centek, he guaranties only versions up to 1.32 being good. I'd imagine that they have mostly updated Ce...

Re: CT2B Flash 1.41 English

Yes, I saw the 'other' google results as well. I'm afraid it's him (the same name and state and city...). That email address also bounces. I'm afraid Rodolphe doesn't have anything as he parted with Centek in 1999 and therefore didn't have access to later releases (I think there was a sort of accusa...

CT2B Flash 1.41 English

I know this is a long shot but any chance somebody got this version for the Centurbo card? Latest English available (on dhs.nu) is 1.39. One guy called 'phantomm' had been hunting relentlessly for the English 1.4.1 and according to this post: https://groups.google.com/d/msg/comp.sys.atari.st/-ZqvaEx...

Re: 1920x1080 stopped working

IIRC 1920x1080 requires the use of reduced blanking, which is ok on digital DVI, but not always on analag VGA monitors. It’s likely to be a timing issue, methinks. As expected, another SuperVidel (and even another Falcon) produces the same results (quite an experience to take out the SV out of stor...

Re: CT60 + Phantom

Maybe an NVRAM issue? Can't rule this possibility out -- I did have a bad NVRAM in there but that would be quite an interesting scenario where bad NVRAM influences CT60 mode only. And then magically doesn't after three years. Anyway, NVRAM has been changed now so I really hope I wont see any RGB tr...

Re: CT60 + Phantom

Just to add a 3 year later followup: Today I've disassembled the Falcon in question (after having it in a storage place) and while doing some tests I've got the idea to check RGB again. And yes, it works. Just like that. I guess sitting the problem out is a valid bugfixing approach sometimes. ;)

1920x1080 stopped working

Hi guys, recently I have noticed a strange issue. I've had a Falcon+CT60e+SuperVidel up and running for some time. I moved from Australia back to Europe this year, still have the very same Falcon setup except the monitor(s). Back in Brisbane I didn't have anything special, just an LCD with VGA/DVI i...

Re: Open source Mario port to 030/060 Falcon?

It uses SDL2 (which hasn't been ported to Atari yet) so you couldn't just take & recompile it. Also, SDL_Mixer routines would need to be adapted to Falcon hardware (IIRC, SDL_Mixer tends to be rather slow).

Apart from that it could be an easy ride, yes.

Nah, you know what, I'll advertise it after all. I've added a couple of useful (at least for me) features like showing machine OS's full nationality and memory size, added a limited support for EmuTOS etc... so this should be your (my ;)) no.1 choice when dumping whatever TOS in the universe. https:...

Re: Tool to dump STe ROM?

Any chance for getting this added? Hey, at least I am not asking for a GUI, writing out the ROM file is perfectly fine. :p I've become quite frustrated with the current state of things so I have made yet-another-rom-dump tool, this time supporting all TOS versions. Let me know if it works for you.

Strange, it certainly doesn't crash in Hatari + 3.06UK. However, there's another problem - it also saves only first 256 KB! (as TOS.ROM file)

Is there any reliable, all TOS compatible, tool for this job?

Whoa Luckily I got mine couple of years back.
