Re: rainbow islands

But there are worse things: this is forum section about preservation, and you come here with praising one single crack, one cracker - what would be OK, if it would be something exceptional, but it is not. And that talk about how long cracking took - please ... You're right. Topic moved to the Games...

Just a few? How many disks do you have? Last issue known is #53.

Re: Stonish.net - Atari ST Menu disks (Euroswap, FOFT, SFX...)

@Methanoid : there is a missing list, but it's not accurate. Need to improve it a bit, that's why there's no link on the homepage to this list. You can find it here: http://stonish.net/missingmenus.php Also don't consider Pompey Pirates nor Superior /FOF menus in the list. I'm working on them, which...

Re: Questprobe/Scott Adams adventures for ST

Have the original version of The Human Torch and the Thing.
Game was published by Adventure International, but spread by US Gold.
Since it isn't protected, here is the MSA file dumped from the original disk.

Re: hunting some Special FX menus..

Would love to get such a machine :D

Well, just a few SFX disks are missing now (if we consider v1 aren't so important than v2).

Fingers crossed as always ;)

Re: Stonish.net - Atari ST Menu disks (Euroswap, FOFT, SFX...)

Yes, there's still a l ot of menus that need to be checked and listed before uploading them on the site. Golden Dawn's menus are among them (they're already on Demozoo : https://demozoo.org/groups/33465 but they deserve to be on Stonish, too). Never heard about Sweet Sixteen, but as you said, there ...

Re: Stonish.net - Atari ST Menu disks (Euroswap, FOFT, SFX...)

Yes, of course there're many error on the site, but the one you mentioned isn't related to Stonish.

The game names links to Atari Legend website, which is down since many weeks.

I've heard it will back online as soon as their new project is finished ;)

Re: Stonish.net - Atari ST Menu disks (Euroswap, FOFT, SFX...)

Thanks for your encouragement Qube :) TOSEC hasn't been updated since a long time. It has also plenty of damaged / duplicated / unverified files, so well... Of course it doesn't mean Stonish is perfect, but I run each intro+game+tool+demo on each menu. Also I try to collect menus directly from the s...

Re: Stonish.net - Atari ST Menu disks (Euroswap, FOFT, SFX...)

Thanks for your report, Qube.
Good news: the dump of TLS #21 is safe.
I've unpacked BAT2_4 and compared this file to the data of the original game: they match 100%.
It's a problem with the File Checker, which doesn't affect the game.
You should be able to play the whole game w/o problem.

Re: Stonish.net - Atari ST Menu disks (Euroswap, FOFT, SFX...)

- Have finished to check/repair/upload The World's Picture Collection! Some disks are still missing, but a large part of the collection is now online. Hope to get some news from Thys Elroy one day, who knows? - Working on FOF / Superior disks at the moment. Need to check each one as always. I though...

Re: New Atari ST disks cracks and originals

Thanks for the dumps. - Impact Menu #22 was already on Stonish and was sent by ZX a few months ago (I'm looking for the "alt" version of this menu with The Light Corridor + F-29 Retaliator Missions). - The Light menu with Gremlins II + 3D Tennis was totally unknown to me. - all others aren...

Re: New Atari ST disks cracks and originals

Thanks, but don't trust in the missing list for Pompey Pirates: I'm still currently working on this set. Have all the menus, but there're ton of issues with the PRG that validates all disks (it's on PP #13). I need to work on these menus asap. That's why many menus appear as missing atm. Anyway, don...

Re: Fuzion 125

Have compared the Fuzion menu to the original crack by TST D0 / Vmax --> Same damaged files.
Have also tried to repack the file posted by Cyrano Jones with Atomic Cruncher, but the size is very different...
The crack by Vmax was probably done from a corrupted disk.
