Re: Apollo Team announces developing of Vampire standalone version to run as AMIGA and ATARI ST

An MMU compatible (with wich 68K processor?) is absolutely not need, MMU exist, it should only take into account in Mint, that's all. To use 68080 capacity in all case Mint should be modified (more register ...) Maybe it is just me, but personally I don't like the idea of MiNT having to adapt to su...

Re: Apollo Team announces developing of Vampire standalone version to run as AMIGA and ATARI ST

Do you know what is a "chicken egg problem" ??? This is not a chicken/egg problem at all IMO, it is a problem of you failing to realize that not everyone is sharing your beliefs or ideas on how things should be done. IMO it is fully up to the Apollo team to decide what they want to do, an...

Re: MyAES is here!

I dont think MyAES will be ever finished. I believe Olivier will have allways something new to implement of improved. He will have to decide to work on the desktop instead of MyAES. But MyAES is just great! I think you are true MyAES will never be finished! For 0.97 there is still this: - Fix files...

Re: MyAES is here!

It would be really great if zDesk would be finished! But best wiould be that Zorro would be part of the team or he would continue to develop further alone. But I also believe to Olivier that sources are bad code. The best would be to find a Zorros conntact and write him as a group of Atari users a ...

IIRC, OL also has a desktop.

Yes but I have no time to work on it, MyAES take me all my spare time, and it is designed to be very simple and light weight (even smaller than Teradesk). This is not useful for the moment unfortunately

Re: MyAES is here!

IIRC, even he lost him after some time. My last contact with him is from 2013. Then I tried writing him in 2016 about zDesk sources (as those on atariforge are too old) but no reply. That's really bad. :( zDesk would have been a wonderful desktop for the firebee and for the fast Ataris and clones. ...

Re: MyAES is here!

Thanks for uploading the new version. 8) I just noticed that moving a window can be very slow again when you move it out of the visible screen. If you reach the border of the screen than moving will be very slow but it woks fluently again when you've moved the window completely back into the screen...

Of course Mdesk is not yet mature but do you try it? You can find it in folder gemsys/myaes/mdesk it is not nice as zdesk but not need a lot of memory to run, it's just to see not for use yet. Papyrus is strange looks able to run correctly only under Magic and TOS I tried the first version of Mdesk...
