Which version are you using? The first version had a problem with 4MB of RAM. From other comments, it appears to be working on actual hardware.

Re: Iceblox Plus

If you at making changes, can you change disabling sound to S? Sometimes, I will press the fire button by mistake and shut off the sound. I do not know if you can also add a key (Esc) to exit the game and go back to the desktop. If that is not possible, that is ok. I have enjoyed playing your game. ...

Re: Iceblox Plus

@KarlH,

This version appears to fix both the resolution bug (having to start in ST Low) and crashing on systems with 4 MB of RAM. I also like the fact that it runs directly from a hard drive. Thanks for changing the game so quickly.

Re: Iceblox Plus

I liked the game. I do hope the game is fixed to handle 4MB of ST-RAM or more. The graphics were very cute. I enjoyed the game and found it very playable. I hope Eero's suggestions could be implemented. I noticed the source code appears to be in the Ingredients folder. I extracted the ZIP file with ...

Re: NEW ATARI STe game port “FROGS”

@simoncam - I did read the page. After your reply, I was able to figure out that I needed to hit the space key in order to change the control mode. After finding that out, I was able to play a one player game with CPU players. Thanks!

I saw his comments on AtariAge. It confirms the problem I saw in 2.06. Hopefully, he will have time to work on an updated version that works on US TOS 2.06.

Re: NEW ATARI STe game port “FROGS”

@simoncam - Does Frogs have the option to be a single player game? When I bring up the game, it appears that I have to have at least two human players. I am hoping this is not the case.

Re: NEW text-adventure game / interactive novel for ATARI ST :)

Has anyone tried on US TOS 2.06 yet? I am curious because I was going to send it to my Atari retrogaming group. Unfortunately, if I use US TOS 2.06, the game will switch to 50Hz but it will lock up when you select the language. Unlike our club president, I do not have an ST at my disposal so I have ...

Re: Atari ST core/ games question

As far as the first question, stm and stx flies are copy protected images. I do not think they are supported by MIST. I do not own a MIST myself though. I would take the suggestion of the previous poster and use an earlier TOS version. 2.06 had compatibility problems with software that made incorrec...

Re: How to get Hatari working on High Sierra ? (OSX)

I would try using the right-click (control-click) and select Open from the contextual menu. You should not get a Gatekeeper eero since you compiled it yourself, but it would not hurt to see if some other message appears.

Re: Hatari red side bars in fullscreen

I just wanted to mention this does not occur on all retina Macs. I just tried EmuTOS and TOS 1.04 on my 2016 Retina MacBook Pro and I see black bars instead of red.

I am also using SDL 2.08 and Hatari 2.1.

Re: Hatari 2.1.0 and window 7

The A and B refer to the emulated ST, not your PC drives. There was a comment on the development list asking if the path could be made editable in the SDL file selector. While not as convenient as drive buttons, it would allow Windows users to access files on a different drive letter. I have no idea...

Re: Hatari 2.1.0 and window 7

Since Hatari developers all use Linux, the file selector does not understand different drives like Windows uses. For the Windows version of Hatari, I think you will have to keep the program and all supporting files on the same drive. In the past, the developers have not been interested in supporting...

Re: Neo Desk 4 - where can i find original disks? (not emulator)

It looks like you can use JayMSA (http://jaysoft.atari.org) to extract the files from the MSA archive. You will need to copy the MSA file to your Atari before using JayMSA. Once you have extracted the files, you can copy them to floppy disks. If you do not have a hard drive for your ST, I am assumin...

I assume the question is regarding the source code to Geneva and NeoDesk and not simply the binaries. I am only guessing that "real life" has gotten in Dan's way regarding the release of the source code.

Re: No picture Atari 130xe

I am not a hardware person, but if you are using the switch box (RF) that came with the 130XE, you would need to be able to connect the old connectors to a current coax connection. If you have done this, I would check that the channel switch matches the channel number on your TV. The simplest soluti...

Re: Hatari 2.1.0 has been released

Have you inserted GFA Basic into Drive A? I do not see where you have opened the drive to see GFA. If you have GFA Basic on a GEMDOS drive, you could use the Install Devices command to see those drives. However, it would be easiest to start with if GFA Basic was on an ST image that you inserted into...

Thanks so much for releasing Neodesk 4 and Geneva. It definitely brings back nostalgic memories. I was happy to donate to the Gribnif "tip jar" for the memories that your products brought to me when I was an active ST user.
