Re: Retronic on my Falcon or TT never worked?

I got an (early) HxC USB, and indeed it's a "slave" USB device for a PC. The PC, using a dedicated software, serves disk image data via USB cable to the HxC drive in the retro computer. So the PC software must be running continuously along the retro computer, and you load and swap disks on...

Cheetah Tortoise controller

What the funk is this? https://i.imgur.com/fqYFcTL.jpg Is it a mouse? How does it operate? It seems one is available on eBay atm, but not much description about how it is handled there. Wah, that's a pretty wonderful concept, great idea and work so far junosix!
I'd be love to test it, once an editor can be used to. :)

(maybe this DMA synth engine could be added to maxYMiser? but not sure gwEm got time for coding on it now tho)

Re: Something I made - A LST to TXT converter

charles: Well it's not really equivalent, the man made a menu and all. :) Anyhow, to do this kind of batch renaming, and more, on windows, i recommend using Total Commander. ...which even got a ST equivalent, actually coded in GFA! -> KK Comander ( screenshots ) (not sure KK Commander does batch ren...

Re: Screen size

Are there configuration variables to set a specific resized window size directly when the emulator start ?

I tried running the emulator, resizing by hand, then saving configuration to file.
But no configuration variable retains the resized window size.

Wow, nice set of features and cool non native interface.
It would be excellent if it could support the standard trackers copy/paste/block/transpose keyboard shortcuts (those present in PC FastTracker 2). :)

Re: Atari ST demos on 2 disks supporting drive B

It was my brother who had bought our copy of Street Fighter 2 on ST. I should ask him if he enjoyed playing it. My memories of an ST(e) title willing to bring arcade fighting gameplay on ST was Ultimate Arena , a home-made Mortal Kombat clone for STe. It wasn't too bad compared to Mortal Kombat on M...

Re: Atari ST demos on 2 disks supporting drive B

Ah yes true that big megademos can require many disks changes when browsing. :) And yes again, i was referring to games as programs loading from both drives. Adventure games were especially mad on this. Also Street Fighter II, but as anyone playing this hideous game port could probably be categorize...

Re: Atari ST demos on 2 disks supporting drive B

I'd say you rarely (if not never) have to go back to disk one in demos, do to their program and data structure. :)
Handling two drives is then a more worthy addition for programs loading from both drives at any time.
