Re: Wanted CT60

I desperately need to make about £800 due to moving in with my gf while changing job at whats turned out to be the worst possible time. Though it breaks my heart and I never thought I would do this, am considering selling my ct63 with ctpci and the falcon which died a while ago (been working too muc...

Re: Crow of Creation - Falcon

This is something I'm interested in getting. I've drooled over the description at 16/32 systems for years, hoping to buy a copy if I ever got a Falcon. Now I finally have a Falcon and there are no more left to buy? Also, I've been a bit confused by this thread, am I to understand that even the rele...

Re: Your first videogame ever?

I can't remember. I was born August 1991, so it was shortly after that. We had the ST so the first game I played was on that god knows what though. Probably either Xenon 2, Black Lamp, Wizball, Arkanoid 2, Garfield or Jumping Jackson possibly even Noddys Playtime(whatever my mum put on when she firs...

Re: Falcon Doom

There was a big thread on jaguar sector II afaik but it was a couple years ago, you would have to trawl through or probably better just pm a few people on there see if they can help on that (belboz I think was working on something, someone was working on doom2) I think it was a couple of years ago t...

AFAIK (from looking on jaguar sector forum) the Jag wad is available already. Had always wondered if it would run better.

Well if you port doom, there are already a lot of custom wads that you can look at so I think this may be part of the attraction.

Hmm I seem to have no trouble writing games to disk from images using ppera's floimg on any of the FDD's that I have (from several PC's over 10 years) That you need a sony drive is new on me, unless you mean fitting a pc drive into the atari (doesn't it need to be that sony model and have cable twis...

Re: Falcon Doom

Dont think there has been any progress for years now. You can get full speed on a stock falcon (Possibly not TT) on one of the ports, but all you can do is run around the level. If you want to shoot, complete missions etc then you have to use pmdoom. Best way to actually play doom without upgrading ...

Re: Silly XOR patent (helped) kill the Amiga?

Anyway I have heard that today stupid software patents are the only reason xbox can play music in game and ps3 cant on most games. Not sure what you mean there. Of course PS3 plays music in games...? Some codecs might patented (e.g. MP3) but that's not stopped anyone :D Besides there's ogg/etc. No ...

Wow your updating WinSTon?
This has been my emulator since back in the day. Have you updated the disk list to point to a live site?
Never moved on to Steem because WinSTon was easier to use and ran everything I threw at it perfectly.
Though I rarely emulate.
