You would like to increase "a" every second while the other code is running?

I do not have Firebee, so I sent you an email with executable to test.

I did a quick test and it works great on the FireBee except there is no sound. Great work!
Thank you!

Re: Vision native for coldfire

I gues that could go step by step if it is to much to do it at once. As long as there are parts of the program that are not translated, you would still have to run it in the emulator, so that might work, but you won't notice any speed difference. Vision is not running in the emulator! Only commands...

Re: Vision native for coldfire

Vision is working on the FireBee but due to emulation of the unsupported commands it is slow. Any improvement would be welcome even if not fully. I gues that could go step by step if it is to much to do it at once.

Re: ZXR 0.1c (updated)

The initial goal for me was to make it run "good enough" on Falcons/TT, since there are better emulators which could be used on high end machines (I ported x128 many years ago; runs in a window or fullscreen, but likely fails on the Coldfire). Since there seems to be some interest, I migh...

Re: ZXR 0.1c (updated)

Can you port it for FireBee? With a little work it could be made to run on the Firebee, but it won't be native ColdFire code (hence it will be sub optimal). It would probably make more sense to use another emulator in such case. Or, perhaps I should add an additional CPU core written in C... That c...

Re: log over screen

How I can do it automatically on system start? I believe TOSWIN2 starts automatically on system start if you use preinstalled MiNT Setup. Does it starts in your case? Then you go to the Console setup dialog and there check to open conslole at the startup. Then you can also setup the size and the fo...

Re: log over screen

To force a redraw of the screen press CTRL+ALT+<CLr Home> combination. To catch the output open the TosWin console on the desktop. You can configure it to be opened automaticaly at the startup of the system. I have it opened all the time in a small window at the bottom of the right part of the deskt...

Re: foss-north 2018: Atari ST Free Operating Systems

To fix the incorrect keyboard mapping with this version of Dosbox, simply change "usescancodes=true" to "false" in dosbox-0.74.conf. It does the trick, at least on Falcon. This is great! I will have to test it. If it works on the FireBee it will be very usefull for me :) Thanks!!!

Re: Software alternative

I got Photoline working on my FireBee under 68k software emulation. But it is so slow that is unusable. What version of Photoline is start? I use version 2.30. ST and not TT version! You have to copy 68kemu.prg into Photoline directorz and then drag photo_st.prg on 68kemu.prg and wait. After some t...

Re: Software alternative

As for Photoline, as far as I know the only one able to make it work is Mathias and nobody has been able to figure out how. This was discussed in this forum somewhere. However, Vision, from Jean Lusetti, might be a good and maybe better alternative since Jean has released it as freeware, and has re...

Btw PhotoLine is free now for TOS. Is it possible to ask author to compile it for ColdFire cpu? He said something like if enough Atarians would buy/register P...
