New version. Always works with 512 KB of Ram Now all CEL files <= 320 * 200 16 colors are loaded. At the request of mamut, adding the loading of INL files containing images: NEO, PI1-3, with or without color cycle. Since the PC1-3, CEL, and SD0 files are similar formats, they may also have an INL ex...

Sorry, but in the version of 27/06, the last line of the image EZA is not corect if the image has an odd size ! The next version of MI-3 with a not very powerful slideshow, but useful for testing the backup format. Be careful, the keyboard is not active when loading files. With BMPs, it can be long...

Re: MI-3 picture format converter

Following the test carried out by MM41  Fixed several bugs I did not have on Steem and Hatari emulators. I added the loading of 24-bit BMP images (only 16, 4 and 2 colors) which makes it possible to load screensavers made with Steem. To load 24-bit BMP images (640 * 400 in all three resoluti...

Re: MI-3 picture format converter

In test by MM41 that I thank on a real machine.
There are some bugs that I do not have with Steem.
Remember, only images of the size of the screen and with the number of corespondant colors can be loaded correctly. Except .BLD and .R01, which may be smaller.

Re: Data writing

This is fixed, with a $ 25 xbios and a compilation order before calling the routine. This bug was in MI-3, and I do not use a palette change in this program . It's quite similar to the pallet change bug in MI-9 When I had the picture by MM41 I understood the problem. He confirmed that now it works w...

Re: Data writing

Apparently, the problem does not occur during writing
By the way, I noticed that the mouse also disrupted a routine acting on the palette ($ FFF8240) but only after compilation. But this is solved
It's all the more complicated for me because I have more Atari to do the tests.

Pea (a3) is ok, but with Pea A3 you enter the datas on the address I realized that this version worked even after a crash of the second version that reads the file at the end So I still looked at my mistake. In fact, I replaced the Seek_offset variable in Fread with another, and it was not initializ...

Re: Gemdos error handling with Steem3.2

here is the first test, the palette is not good. After adding low resolution at medium resolution, he tripled the decoding time of medium resolution images. (I may be able to separate them) It is not good to use the file size specified in the BMP header because it is not always correct and can cause...

Re: Gemdos error handling with Steem3.2

After the first -64 error returned by Fseek (Gemdos $42), sometimes Fread (gemdos $3F) returns 0 in D0, but the loaded bytes do not match what is requested. And without reset, nothing good Well, I'm giving up this loading mode which will be slow for this file. Also, I do not know how to use the Fsee...

Gemdos error handling with Steem3.2

Gemdos returned error -64 (file pointer to invalid segment),. Normal because the file size was incorrect in the file header. After correcting this error, why does Fread always send me an error if I do not restart the emulator? (Whatever file I'm trying to read) moveq.l #0,d0 addq.l #6,a3 ; 2(a3) bsr...
