"Oh Well, That's Life" demo

Does anyone have a copy of this? It was by either "The Demolition Crew" or "Total Destruction". I can't find reference to it anywhere, except in a review from the June '92 issue of Public Domain magazine. It was apparently available from "David Paulling PD" - review her...

Thank you! I wasn't aware of that site and it's superb.

Re: Software Automatic Mouth. AKA "Sam"

The McAipof Reader was a nice text-to-speech app that I think I got from an ST Format coverdisk. I still use it if I need a retro-sounding artificial voice for a video.

Re: Searching for a couple of STOS demos

I don't think they're LAPD codes - they began with a D for demos. No idea about Goodmans though!

Re: Searching for a couple of STOS demos

Cheers :D

My ancient notes give reference to the disks as "H002" and "H107" respectively. Sadly I have no idea who issued them with those codes so that probably doesn't help at all!

Searching for a couple of STOS demos

I can't find either of these demos anywhere. I don't suppose anyone has copies knocking around their hard drives?

The Big STOS Demo by the Radioactive Hedgehogs (NOT the demo of the same name by the Watchmen!)
The B.J.H STOS Crew's Mega 1 Demo

Any help greatly appreciated!

TFC Megademo

I've been trying to get this STOS demo working under emulation but without any success. It shows the title screens then says "Error #013" and exits to desktop. Trying to run it from the desktop then produces Error #028... I've tried various configurations of STEEM and SainT but with no joy...

I certainly do - £5.50 should cover the postage to Finland is that's OK?

How much? :)

Just the cost of postage - £2 should cover it to Cambridge. Paypal OK?

ST Cartridges up for grabs

I was just checking through my ST collection and found three cartridges. I'm not going to use them any more, so rather than let them decay I'll offer them to good homes for the cost of postage. I have: Ultimate Ripper (Data ripping cartridge with original case and manual) Stereo Master (Stereo sampl...

Re: L.A.P.D Disk Images for download

Any chance of a relink? Please? :) I've uploaded it here - I rebuilt the archive but I'm 99% sure it's the same set of disc images that the OP uploaded. On the subject of LAPD, I found the following disks in amongst my collection: Aliens Mad Max Desktop Muzak Font Disk (W12) Lightning Demo Overdose...

Oh man! I remember that - nobody would lend disks out for a couple of weeks after that surfaced, in case they were deliberately infected ;)

No problems, just don't ask for a kidney ;)

I'm surprised there aren't more bootsector backup programs, as ST viruses tended to erase them. The Ghost virus was prevalent locally and ST User putting the Green Goblins virus on a coverdisk didn't help!

Wow, really? I could never get far enough to tell. There is a level skip cheat which implies there are five levels, though.

Type delboy at the credits screen for unlimited lives. Then, press [F1] through [F5] to advance to the corresponding level.
