Sounds like it would be quite a mess. Do you have pictures of that mod? Would like to keep this TT fairly clean as it's in mint condition.

Re: Calamus 1.09(N) wanted

I also got the “bad TOS version message” when testing it with TOS 1.04, 1.62 and 2.06 under Hatari ... and I have found the reason why : this version only works with a Swedish TOS. After downloading a Swedish TOS 1.62, it worked fine. I’ve found a French Calamus 1.09 N version which runs on a...

Re: Wanted: ST-RAM board for the Atari TT030

Oh, sounds interesting, but I don't have a 2MB board to mod (yet). I only have the 2MB that is present on the motherboard. However those memory chips are in DIL sockets. 16*128k. Would it be possible to replace those with 16*256k or 16*512k chips to achieve 4MB or 8MB total ST-RAM? Is Lynxman still ...

Re: Dual monitor setup?

You need one of these: https://www.exxoshost.co.uk/atari/last/storenew/#0107 It will let you connect your STE to any VGA monitor using a standard VGA cable. Depending on the frequencies supported by your monitor it will show ST-Low, ST-Medium and/or ST-High. A regular VGA switch box would work fine ...

Wanted: ST-RAM board for the Atari TT030

Hi,

Just got my new TT setup properly but it has only the built-in 2MB ST-RAM and I'd like to have at least 4MB ST-RAM. Anyone interested in selling me a working 2MB or 8MB ST-RAM board for the TT?

Thanks,
Daniel

Re: LCD capable of 100 Hz?

I totally understand what you're saying. Space is always a problem. Can never get enough of that. Nothing beats a CRT when it comes to demos though. That's why I keep my 19" VGA CRT screen on my desk even though it takes up a lot of space. The 14" RGB CRT is in the closet. For the Falcon03...

What about Freesync monitors? I don't know if any of them comes with an analog VGA input though?

Re: VGA adapter with Blow Up and VGA/RGB switch

Could've been many reasons why: - A faster dot clock stresses the bus more, slowing down the system. The Falcon030 was not really designed for high resolution video modes. - There may not have been any standard video modes requiring faster dot clocks than 32MHz at the time the Videl was designed, so...

Re: Modern multisync monitors?

I ended up buying the Benq BL912 19" monitor. It works all the way down to 15.7kHz/50Hz and can show all ST and Falcon030 video modes. Looks like the monitor is still available in stores and online. It's a TN screen so the viewing angle is not great, but it's fast so demos and games look great....

Received the TT and it's in absolute mint condition. I'm shocked over how clean it is and how it's not yellowed at all. It's like a dream come true! Will post pictures later if anyone would be interested, but will probably take a few days. Haven't looked inside of it yet, but will open it up during ...

Best in the US used to have Falcon cases. Dunno if they still have some left but give Brad a call and see what he has to offer.

I miss Toad Computer :( Seems like Atari had problems with the FCC a few times. I read somewhere that the...

Re: I just bought a TT030!

Ops, sorry. Were you the bidder with the next highest bid? I put in a bid at about 6200 SEK with 10 seconds left and I was 100% sure I'd get it, but was shown a screen saying I wasn't the highest bidder and I panicked. Managed to get another bid in there with 2 seconds to go. Haha! You'll find your...
