Re: Genedit by Hybrid Arts

Hmm... The configuration file from the M3 I am using should give a dump of all program parameters. I'm gonna keep working on it. It's a good thing that it is possible to see all the code that is written for the configuration and template files. I presume your manual is on paper only, and not in digi...

Re: Genedit by Hybrid Arts

Hi Thanks for your reply! So far, my aim is to get atari and korg talking to each other. I'll worry about templates later. And yes, the big hurdle is knowing the cnx language. I have to get the manual. I'm gonna send Joe hlifka an email to hear if he has the manual available. My first aim is to load...

Genedit by Hybrid Arts

Any Genedit users out there? I recently started getting into Genedit to edit some synths I have. I plan on adding some classic rackmounted synths to the rig if I get it up and running. I know I could find modern software for this on my mac, but I kind of like the idea of using the Atari for this pur...

Re: USB floppy for Mac

Ok thanks for that!
Can I get any USB floppy drive that is OSX compatible? Or are there some drives that won't take 720 kb disks?

Can you format a 720 kb dos disk on the mac as well? Or should it be formatted on the atari?

USB floppy for Mac

Hi!

Does anyone have experience with transferring atari files to a USB floppy drive attached to a Mac?
I currently have an old PC for the purpose, but I would love to get rid of it!

Re: BOMBS....

Yeah that was an easy fix. I guess I was lucky :D @shredder11: The C64 PSU can really mess up things. That's always the first place to trouble shoot... Fortunately I have a stock PSU that haven't played any funnygames yet, but I have heard people using two wallwarts (9 VAC and 5 VDC) and reported it...

Re: BOMBS....

Hi Wow, it's amazing what you guys know. Thanks for the info! I know form the C64 that a bad PSU can cause many different problems. Fortunatley that doesn't deem to be the case here... I took the top of again and pulled out socketed chips comletely and reseated them. That seems to have done the tric...

Re: Atari ST to Commodore 1084s monitor

Really???

The colors on my Commodore 64 are fine, connected to the same monitor, but of course through the chroma/luma RCA jacks.
Does this make a difference?

Re: BOMBS....

Hi The problem occurs with any disk that doesn't auto boot and also with no disk. After some time (longer than with a disk), I get 8 bombs. I have tried 8-10 different auto booting games that all seem to work. New info: Yesterday i opened the machine to push down on the socketed chips. The machine w...

Re: BOMBS....

Hi

Thanks for the info. I don't have a hard drive installed, only floppy. I found out that I can boot games that have an auto boot function and they seem to run normal. But I can't boot into the desktop...

Any idea?

Re: Atari ST to Commodore 1084s monitor

Hi all New to the forum here! Just reviving an old thread... I made a ST - 1084s cable and it kind of works... I have audio and a crisp and stable picture, but the colors are not quite right. I now have a green desktop, but it seems like white is not available. Instead the border is sort of light tu...
