Re: CF card + HDDRIVER 10.02 in Falcon

My choice to have an easy way to exchange between my Falcon and my PC (with Ubuntu Linux system) was to choose Bigdos + Hddriver 7.8, in order to manage Dos compatible partitions up to 2 Go, particulary with a Iomega Jazz on the Falcon and also on the PC. The cartdriges are directly readable on both...

Re: VGA adapter with Blow Up and VGA/RGB switch

I don't understand what you say.

I try to play with left and right blank, Hsync and XRes with any result. The screen is always larger than 1024 !

Re: VGA adapter with Blow Up and VGA/RGB switch

Here the parameters I use with Blowconf: http://rmor.free.fr/Atari/P1010009.JPG

It seems that the two values left blank (92) and right blanck (104) are not used. So the screen is 1220 pixel and not 1024. Could you give me the line of your standard.bcf for this resolution please ?

Re: VGA adapter with Blow Up and VGA/RGB switch

True. I wanted to say default.bcf. I omitted also the end of the last phrase: with Papyrus, I can't see the right windows lift by example.

Re: VGA adapter with Blow Up and VGA/RGB switch

Could someone tell me how to get a true 1024*768 with the 3-IN-1 card ? With the modified standard.bcf It seems to be a 1216*784 and I can't see the right windows lift.

Re: Falcon Video extension

No change. I try to put aluminium paper around grounded. No change.

I have a VGA cable and an another with 10 wires and shielding.

Could it be possible to imagine a connecting schema with 15 or 10 wires ?

Re: Falcon Video extension

I'll try to wire again the connectors. It is not difficult to identify the pins with their numbers on the connector. So I don't understand why the extension doesn't run.
Must the ground be soldered on the carcass of the two connectors ?

Re: Do you use/need more than one MIDI input?

I have a SM24. It is plugged to the Falcon by the printer port.
I plug on the SMP24 two devices on the MIDI IN (keybord and drum) and three expanders on MIDI OUT.
I use the Falcon MIDI ports when I use an editor with an expander, IN and OUT/THRU.

Re: Falcon Video extension

No, I want just an extension for the Falcon video port. I bought the VGA 3-IN-1 device on this forum. It is about 5 cm long and I just want to deport the video port in order to connect this device not behind the Falcon but above.

Falcon Video extension

Hi,

I bought 2 DB19 (male and female) in order to make a video extension and connect the VGA 3-IN-1 over the Falcon and not behind.

I wired the 19 pins to obtain a direct link. But it does not work.

Could someone do me schema wiring please ? Thank you for your help.

Re: VGA adapter with Blow Up and VGA/RGB switch

Hi, With the 1024x768 resolution, how is it possible to avoid having as a virtual screen on the right edge of the screen? The mouse cursor does not stop at the right edge of the screen. And what are the values 1216 and 772 found in the STANDARD.BCF and we retrieve into the BLOWCONF screen as W and H...

Re: Steinberg SMP II Operation with Falcon CAF

About the switch I checked the internal connection. It seems all the pins are wired. I use cable less than 3m and I invert the cable between the SMP24 and the printer, unsuccessfully. SPM24 must be running before launching Cubase. Two devices MIDI IN are plugged and three expander on MIDI OUT. And m...

Re: Steinberg SMP II Operation with Falcon CAF

The firmware for the SMP24 must be 1.6. I don't know firmware 2.0 ! The manual (here http://atarimusic.exxoshost.co.uk/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=249:hardware-manuals&catid=88:hardware-manuals&Itemid=361) speak about the 1.6 only. The firmware is updated by replacin...
