Re: Hatari, opening .ST

what is your operating system? They all have a different way to associate a program to a file type. Anyway, most have the feature to "open with..." and then you can select "always open with this program" (or something equivalent). Does it do this with all your .ST files or only a...

Re: Five finger death punch on zx spectrum

you're probably all joking: it's possible to get up to 16 channels on beeper music, and some engines like Octode can play 8 channels with drums (like this one: http://battleofthebits.org/arena/Entry/Interstellar+Drift/16364/ ) There are several new incredible 1bit engines released even nowadays, and...

Re: The last MIST

Hi Till, Sorgelig, and all the awesome developers around the FPGA retrocomputing! Thanks a lot for this, I won't complain about anything, I own a MiST and often use it. When I saw the MiSTer I was interested but it wouldn't give me much more than the MiST can do at the moment (and no case and no mid...

Re: Ghosts'n Goblins on MiST

I've just tried it in my MiST, it's awesome! Very difficult game. The atari st version is horrible. The amiga looks like the arcade version, but it seems to be much less smooth (I've only looked at the amiga version on youtube at the moment). The twitter account is working, it's just the first link ...

Hi Cesar,
You did well to speak about ZEsarUX, people here are probably interested into emulation and recreation of various computers. I'm using ZEsarUX because I enjoy the ZX Spectrum, and it's a great emulator!! It's good it can support the ula+ display!

I've seen the video on youtube, but can't see any vote. I supposed it was into the video, just browsed through it, i've been at the end but no vote. Does it work only in chrome maybe?

I can't see where you can vote.
Both are gorgeous. The first one for multiplayer, the second one for the adventure part and great monsters. I think I prefer the second one though.

Re: Do YM Sound Modules Exist?

I wouldn't advice to use floppies, they are not really reliable. Gotek + hxc firmware are great. Anyway, if you own a floppy drive on your pc, or if you have an usb floppy drive, just format a floppy on your atari, insert the floppy in your pc, and copy the files from musicmon or maxymiser directly ...

I played mostly "Might and Magic III: Isles of Terra", some 23 years ago, and liked it very much. I haven't tried the others, they are probably as good as MM3.

it's because of rounded values. For example 24 out of 64 is 37.5%, not 38%

most core are actually quite capable, so if you're enjoying Atari, Atari ST, Amiga, C64, ZX Spectrum, Amstrad and many more (sorry for the missing ones, you have a complete list there: https://github.com/mist-devel/mist-board/wiki/CoreStatus ), it absolutely worth it! Bear in mind there is no save s...

Re: +3 Mode in ZX Spectrum Core

thank you, it's a wonderful game but quite tough!

It's probably the best to use the +3 disk version, and load the ianna-sidea.dsk file from the MiST menu, use the "loader" menu, then insert ianna-sideb.dsk file.

I must try the msx version as well.

that's pretty relevant. So now we have a responsibility of more like 40% sender, 40% DHL and 20 % receiver. But I understand how temping it could be to open the package instead of refusing it.

news paper are ok for preventing the computer to move all around in the box, but they should have been crumpled to add some resistance. And with some bubble wrap around the computer, it would have protect it again small shocks. In here, DHL obviously made a pressure which was too much for the box. I...

Will you have any spare PCB? I would be interested in buying it. Yes, it should be possible. Anyway, if I sell everything, I'll order more, and try to improve the boards. Some components are not very intelligently placed, it's difficult to imagine before having the real board in hands. Also, becaus...
