Re: PNGconv - converting "PC formats" to Atari (and more)

thank you for this tool, I've used it on this project: https://www.instagram.com/p/B3c6GTsI6bC/
I've converted the pixel art into an atari file, which I've opened with Degas Elite... Very handy!

Re: roland d10/d-110 and atari software

I tried a few times with emulator, but it didn't work. I'll try again. The real atari is not an option, as I don't have a monochrome monitor, I used a mono emulator back in the days (colos), I didn't remember it looked so bad.

Re: roland d10/d-110 and atari software

I've tried with my original atari st, i got once a connection error, then i've tried again and the transmission went fine. I suppose the midi in fpga is not as expected.

Re: Updated ST Core?

I'm happy for this port.

Anyway, I've tried it with Synthwork and my D110, and I still can't transmit soundbanks to the synth (it halts after 91% transmission, more or less (at random)). I'll test with my original Atari ST to compare... [EDIT: with original Atari STE I can transmit with Synthwork]

Re: MiST - new joystick/gamepad mapping

I'm also stuck with the configuration... I own a generic cheap SNES USB gamepad (from ebay or aliexpress), they work well, but I can't configure correctly the two extra buttons for playing with the Genesis core. In my mist.in I have: joystick_remap=0810,E501,1,2,4,8,20,10,20,10,400,800,40,80,40,80 I...

Re: a simple way to hide all Mist/Mister posts

I understand it can be irritating, but on the other hand I'm still on atari-forum because of the MiST (and yes, the ST is for the Atari part of it). I have for example no interest in TT or Falcon related threads... But I'm interested to read about new games, music or demos on the Atari ST!

Re: roland d10/d-110 and atari software

It's what I supposed, I was using first the Mega STE core, assuming it was working at 16 mhz, then I tried with a normal ST core and it was the same :(

Re: SMS core

Strange. It doesn't work for me, even with your rom. I'm using ATH181225 for the MiST firmware, and the SMS core 190105 (it didn't work either with the previous one, 170227). When I load the rom, I come back to the Master System Boot Loader! [EDIT] Nevermind, it works now perfectly with latest SMS c...

Re: roland d10/d-110 and atari software

I have taken a quick look at midi quest but yes it requires to know the path of the programs to configure, and you can't navigate. I might write down the full path and configure it, but I'm not sure it's better than Synthwork. Talking about synthwork, I have a problem for transferring data to my D11...

Re: roland d10/d-110 and atari software

Thank you Charles, I've looked at them. For Chameleon I've loaded a few sets but there is nothing appearing in the patch list.
I managed to get some instruments from the D10_D110_Editor-797.

Re: roland d10/d-110 and atari software

I see I've Synthwork for D10, D110 and D50, from my ST floppies. Here there are.

d110_editor_synthwork.ST

I've also some sounds or configurations, I don't remember:

d110_set.ST

and here is caged artist: (this one is not a floppy image, but the program files)

caged_d110.zip

I have caged artist from D110, and I still own a D110. I've just connected it to my MiST fpga and I'm using Atari ST software with it. Would you like sharing those programs? I'd be interested in (cracked) version of SynthWorks.

Have you tried this?

Thank you, it seems to work well! (only 934, without #). I'll be able to edit my Korg X5D with this!
