Re: STe upgrade to TOS 2.06 question

If it boots then no links need changing.

I have to say I'm VERY surprised it works. The default (all links in position 1-2) is not 27C010 compatible. Which is why I've got lots of 27C1000 EPROMs

Re: Arcade cores

This is the archive from ZXUNO albeit converted into ZIP as Atari-Forum doesn't support .7z extension

But surely the link I gave above to the MiST beta port would be a better start?

Re: Never Ported respectively released for ST

You think they might have it in a backup? I'm interested but not trawling through millions of pages to find something which may or may not exist. Especially as there was an unreleased overhead tank game which used rotating playfields called Rotator by Rainbow Arts written by reLINE http://hol.abime....

I will look to install the tools and setup a JENKINS server to rebuild every core whenever GIT is updated. No promises on a timescale but it will be an interesting learning curve.

https://www.altera.com/en_US/pdfs/literature/an/an734.pdf Where it says otherwise? It talks about how the ARM can be instructed to go to WFI/WFE (wait for interrupt) where dynamic power is greatly reduced by putting the processor into standby (sleep). Where it tells about cpu idling or dynamic freq...

No MMU and no FPU makes it not particularly useful for a Falcon030 accelerator

I don't think there have been any 68LC040 or 68LC060 turbo cards for Falcon?

Re: DE-10 nano temperature issues

ARM CPU in Cyclone V has no power management. It cannot sleep/idle. So, it's absolutely doesn't matter if MiSTer binary takes 100% or 0% of CPU time - it won't affect the heating. Are you sure? The design document for the Cyclone V HPS seems to say otherwise : https://www.altera.com/en_US/pdfs/lite...

Re: Games for Atari: 1977 to 1995 Book Project on Kickstarter

It does seem unfair to profit from the hard work of game developers. In the past fans created not-for-profit gaming fan websites which could be read by everyone for free and suddenly there is this push to sell books containing content they don't own. Had the book been mainly words, interviews etc. (...

Re: Sinclair QL

The corresponding "_map" file (which I took as being the log file during the last build) says "SDCARD_QLROMEXT" which (from the QL-SD-BUILD.pdf) I took as being a build for a QL-SD ROM.

Sorry it is not what you're looking for.

none of these links have QL-SD ROM. http://www.dilwyn.me.uk/qlsd/qlsd-drv_release.zip I think this file was zipped with an unusual version of ZIP because the directory names have been suffixed to the file names. Anyhow there is a file called "sdcard_SDCARD_BIN_exe" I *think* this is the o...

Re: Terrible Fire TF530

The unit plugs into the 68000 DILL socket. Most Atari ST's don't have a socketed 68000 and those that do don't have the DILL package 68000 they have the PLCC type. If you can find an older STF with a socketed DILL 68000 you could try it. You'll need to replace your TOS ROM with one patched for 68030...

I don't think so. No originals. Only common "compact disks" from the main crews. At 500 euro it's too much to find out. Perhaps if it was 50 euro
