Re: MiSTer: MiST on Terasic DE10-nano board.

Formatting error is related only to ExFAT partition (where menu.rbf and MiSTer binary should be located). You can format it manually from disk manager using FAT32 or ExFAT filesystem and copy those files manually. Thanks for hint! It now seems that partition is in fact formated as FAT32 and accesib...

Re: Troubles with 1040STe locking up or bombing out

Are the STe machines known to need the motherboard recapped? I just had to replace C417, 47uF electrolyte in audio out circuity in order to get mono sound over DIN13 on an STe. So yeah, STe, as actually any other 10 years plus old electonics, is known to be in need of recap. And its unfortunatelly ...

Re: Mega ST keyboard and 1040 ST

I have in project create Keyboard for my TT with Cherry MX Key. I know there are solutions for plugging a PS2 or USB keyboard on the atari, but 'bof', there is a lot of key that does not serve anything. So I wanted to know what was the communication protocol used by the atari. If there is someone w...

What I did this weekend #1

Having a bit of time for myself this weekend, I decided to fix a chassis of MegaST keyboard I bought some time ago from polish auction server. When I first got this keyboard I was quite dissapointed. While it there were no problems visible on pictures, other then missing three keycaps, in fact it wa...

Soldering paste is what makes real difference. You can achive great results with it even without stencil.

Re: MEGA ST keyboard with Caps Lock LED

Hmm... get reset on power on / system reset. Wait for keypress event. On Caps key press, send corresponding key code on TX line, then set pin 37 on HIGH - LED ON. Wait for keypress event. On Caps key press, send corresponding key code on TX line, set pin 37 on LOW - LED OFF. ... Repeat untill power ...

Re: MEGA ST keyboard with Caps Lock LED

The only way this can be implemented is if TOS informs the keyboard about the caps lock state. I could be wrong, but I've never seen anything like this in TOS sources. It could be implemented on keyboard controller level only, without actual linkage to OS. Afterall it would not be the first time I ...

Re: My new, compact Atari -> VGA adapter.

EmuTOS guys are currently discussing possibility to enable transparent mode switing within EmuTOS itself, if they decide to do so, even a passive DIN13_2_VGA converters and dual mode cables will work this way.

Re: MEGA ST keyboard with Caps Lock LED

I know this is 5 years old therad, but I believe some of you might be interested to know, that there is indeed a full circuity for Caps Lock LED wired on MegaST keyboard PCB. At least on a version I currently have on hand. Even R3 and R4 resistors are already assembled. The only two parts are actual...

Since its probably impossble to find just 3 missing pieces from original german keyboard, I wonder if anyone has a complete Mega ST keycap set for sell/trade, preferably UK. Or even a complete keyboard. Name your price. By the way that piece of plastic I am looking for could be from any Atari plasti...

Oh OK. I was mostly concerned about SMD components package. Memory board is straightforward, there is nothing to mess. But IOboard is a bit more complex so the partlist could help to those who want to DYI. I see what I can do to make and publish one. What package are 100uF, please? I cannt tell from...
