Re: Falcon DSP mp2 replay frequency

Yes I know, except that the vertical frequency is related to the number of scanlines, and that for me to change it I need dig into Videl's registers for days and a lot of trial and errors on the actual machine There is no need to code Videl yourself. You can BlowUp tool to tweak resolution a bit: h...

Re: Falcon DSP mp2 replay frequency

fenarinarsa, Videl is very flexible. It gives you a full control of video signal and allows you to define vertical/horizontal frequency whatever you want. There are some valuable docs about Videl and Jag which has the same video register scheme as Falcon: https://mikro.naprvyraz.sk/docs/mikro/videl....

it happens to me also. In the meantime I realized it's easier/faster to find some information on the Web than on my hdd :) EmuTOS files you can find there: https://github.com/emutos/emutos/blob/master/bios/ikbd.c https://github.com/emutos/emutos/blob/master/bios/ikbd.h and some old docs: https://www...

Re: Emulate JagPad for MegaSTe?

So my CosmosEx allows me to use a USB game controller in place of a joystick via the IKDB injector. Would it be possible to do the same thing, but emulate a Jaguar joypad (Jagpad)? For example, there's a new game "r0x zero" for the STe which requires a Jagpad. Unfortunately for me, I have...

Re: STFM to DVI/HDMI project

Would be possible to add one feature - scanline mode? Yep, easy. I've got that planned. Do you think just darkening every second line is the best approach? Possibly a bit of overbleed from bright pixels into the adjacent ones would also look good? I actually don't own a CRT to study how it really l...

actually I have no your converter yet, but I have connected ST to LCD TV via VGA cable (my TV accepts ST-LOW via VGA), and that screen resolution is a bit blocky.

Re: Advertising Atari with sexy girls.

Amiga wasn't really very good at midi. I'm getting one up and running now, but it seems to have an interesting problem where the serial port buffer is only one byte long. So if you miss your window of time to grab that byte another MIDI message will come along and happily blast away your buffer. An...

Re: The Falcon's confusing history

Keep in mind that ALL of the ST/STE/TT/Falcon machines had basically the same system architecture as the original 520ST that's not exactly true. ST/STE/TT share the same concept of sharing bus ram (ST-RAM) - even cycles are assigned to the CPU, and odd cycles to the Shifter. Therefore regardless of...
