hey zippy back then i used to go to this guy who was set up just round the corner from the oyster shop, used to have to go up these really steep set of stairs to get to him. He would have all the game sheets pinned to the wall. They closed that part of the market down though.

I think part of the reason as well that the gameboy out beat those coloured handhelds was the simple fact that it already had a few hundred games published for it with many more on the way.

The Lynx actually lasted a lot longer than i thought then. It's funny as well that the likes of sega and atari bring out hand helds with colour displays and they still got beat by the gameboy which didnt get its coloured screen for a few years after they had both gone. Maybe it was all down to good ...

The game would run fine on my 128mb card but the graphics wouldnt show properly, it was a nvidia geforce 4 mmx. Kept getting error messages saying that my card didnt support certain functions, so thats why i upgraded to the 256mb card. :D

The Life And Times Of The Atari Lynx

I remember owneing an Atari Lynx and i was wondering if anybody can tell me when it first appeared and then when it dissapeared. If i remember right the gameboy had been around for a few years and the sega gamegear was on its way out when the lynx made its debut.

I checked out lycos uk and got the board up and running in its basic form on a free sub-domain, but the database limit is just 10mb and with a web space of just 50mb i doubt i'll be able to enable such things as avatars and file attachments :( The only other option would be to buy a proper web site ...

goldman, did you know that theres a brand new larry game being made for the PC in full 3D. Larry's creator Al Lowe has been kept out of the loop though so sadly his humour wont be a part of the new game.

The reason i collect disk/tape images and roms is not just for the sake of haveing a nice collection. I like the idea that in a few years from now if i ever get bored i can kick start my favourite emulator and play those games that kept me entertained as a youngster. I will admit though that there h...

Hi guys

I want to set up my own PHPBB forum for various video editing problems on the PC. Problem is I've never attempted to set up my own forum and was wondering if anyone out there knows any good tutorials for beginners that could help get me started.
