Re: Atari 520st internal floppy drive help

I recently had this problem. I found a suitable PC drive (Sony MPF920-E with silver front) for £2. I had to move 1 resister to change the ID and one wire link for the disk media change (Instructions credited to techie allison). Oh and cut a small piece of the case for the eject button and connect th...

Re: Anyone from Czech Republic here?

The problem is not the person, it's an ebay clone site and I can't even understand the signup form/rules or advert.
Hence why I wanted somebody to help sign up and contact the seller for me - to find out if he speaks english for a start :)

Time is most important here.

Anybody?

Re: TOS 1.04 LO ROM - Gone bad... help..

I used the rom image from ftp://ftp.fatal-design.com/lgd/tosroms/ and the tools included in hxxp://atari4ever.free.fr/hardware/zip/tos104up.zip

It includes tools I think for making the split files for 2 and 6 chip rom sets.

Re: Blitz Turbo and/or Syncro Express and/or Discovery cartridge

That might be an idea, tho my only external floppy drive does not have a detachable cable. Not much offering on ebay today ... a few pricey ones. I'll keep a look out though. Don't mind spending the money but for that kind of money I'd rather buy a discovery cartridge. Any one got one of them for sa...

Can anyone recommand a specific model floppy drive that works as a direct replacement for the one in an STFM/STE, which just the device ID change and no media change issues?

The reason for the delay was due to personal legal and health problems.

I am returning to WinSTon programming tho, and I'm not saying were weeks away from a release, far from it. But I've not forgotton and I am still working on it.

I had to take the last year off due to university commitments. I finished that a few months ago and needed to take some time off - after a year of coding for my year long project (equivelent to a thesis) I needed a break. I will be resuming WinSTon in January once I've recovered from all the beer at...

Erm with some much gameplay, how on EARTH did the developers ever fully test this game?

We can complete many PC games in a matter of hours...yet this old game has never been beaten.
